This course provides students with a broad knowledge of the multi-sector, fast evolving international tourism area coupled with knowledge of the food industry and event production. The programme is supplemented by regular field trips to tourist attractions, heritage sites and tourist offices. Students will be well placed to serve the local community of West Cork in a variety of tourism and event production roles.

Excellent progression opportunities to UCC and other Higher Education colleges. Special arrangements in place with CIT (CCPS), Tralee IT and Waterford IT for preferential entry for College of Commerce students. Up to 390 CAO points for any Institute of Technology can be attained by successful completion of this course.
