This exciting course progresses from Art Craft and Design and Creative Art for Enterprise level 5. The course allows for students to make direct applications to the second year at Art College or to
advance their art skills, whilst developing the necessary expertise to establish studios as professional Artists/Designers/Craftspeople.
Students are provided with a dedicated workspace and are offered support and encouragement through individual tutorials by experienced professional arts practitioners.
There is direct progression into Art 2 from Art, Craft and Design and Creative Art for Enterprise courses here at West Cork Campus CCOC.

An off er of a place on this course is contingent on the applicant meeting the entry requirements set out here and satisfactory presentation at interview.
An integrated approach to drawing, painting, ceramics, combined materials, art appreciation, allows the students the confidence to further develop their own personal creative skills and concepts. Practical workshops are tailored to equip each student with the skills to either continue in independent professional practice or to progress to third level study.

Students organize, promote and undertake an exhibition in a public
gallery as part of their work experience.
